Twenty Five Minutes....

My family and friends recognize that I was always a charmer. I had my way with people... looked at them with my goody-goody, toatally innocent looks and everyone used to fall over like nine pins. But that was the past. As I grew older; the charm seemed to drift away from me. I no longer seemed to have control over it. ;-(
When I was in the UK, I met a buddy of mine. He is a self proclaimed LoveGuru. He tried to impart his wisdom to me. All I did was laugh at the pick up lines that he taught me.
Last week, being bored out of my wits, I decided to use some of his tricks on an unknowing hapless victim. ;-) (wink wink..)
Location - Cafe Coffee Day
Me -> sipping Irish Coffee
She -> sitting all alone, messaging frantically on her mobile.
Note ~ She is a BOMBSHELL! The type that blows away the brains of any man who lay his eyes on her.
Me -> thinking aloud in a muffled voice "Ah!! So there's my test subject ;-)"
I wait for some time, intermittently glancing at her,making sure that she knows that I am aware of her presence. Then, I walk up to her and say "Twenty five minutes.."
She -> in a surprised tone "Excuse me?"
I repeated my words "Twenty five minutes.... That's the longest time that I ever taken to finish a cup of Coffee!!"
She -> Still in shock...but adds with a sweet smile "Do you want to take a seat?"
Me -> smiling back in return... "Sure!"
She -> "Do you want another Coffee?" she mutters out laughing.
Me -> straight faced and controlling my laughter... "No. Thank you. I wouldn't want to lose out on another twenty five minutes of my life."
She -> now laughing out aloud. "Do you use that on all the girls you meet?"
Me -> smiling.. "No. Only the ones whom I meet at Coffee Day!!"
Both of us share a laugh and some more coffee.
